About the Global Tibet Institute

The Global Tibet Institute is an association incorporated in Australia.

The Global Tibet Institute aims to support and facilitate Tibetans in preserving their identity and culture at this critical juncture in Tibetan history and in empowering young Tibetans to lead successful and meaningful lives.

While the Tibetan people have been the traditional stewards of this unique culture and the associated human values it teaches, we believe the responsibility for protection and advancement of this culture and the promotion of human values now rests with all Global Tibetans – all those who value the culture’s profound insights and its practical benefit, irrespective of their race or background. The Global Tibet Institute also aims to support and facilitate Global Tibetans in fulfilling this responsibility.
