Book and CD Launch
17 August 2013, Dhamaramsala: Chope Paljor Tsering, founder of the Global Tibet Institute, launched the second edition of his autobiography, The Nature of All Things.
Speaking to an audience of mainly young Tibetan writers and journalists, Chope said that his aim in publishing the second edition in India was to make his book readily available to young Tibetan readers at a low cost. He also said that the purpose of writing the book was to share the experience of Tibetans of his generation with the new generation and record it for the benefit of future generations. The book also serves to highlight the plight of the Tibetan people to the world.
Chope also spoke about the Global Tibet Institute at the event. Copies of verses expressing the aims and objectives of the Global Tibet Institute, which has been recorded as a song by the Tibetan Institute of Performing Arts, was made available to the attendees, along with an audio CD of the song.
